Lauriston Road, E9

This two-storey extension transformed a ground floor and basement maisonette in a Victorian terraced house, replacing old lean-to structures with a new living space and upstairs studio. The extension gives the lower flat its own identity, with a formal rear façade contrasting the original informal structure. Inside, the ground floor serves as an open-plan kitchen, dining, and sitting area, while the upstairs studio, designed for a photographer, features an L-shaped corner window overlooking the garden.

We provided advice and administered the Party Wall etc. Act 1996, ensuring seamless coordination with neighbouring properties during the project.
