Haverstock Hill, NW3

18-22 Haverstock Hill is a residential development in Camden. The development proposals seek to redevelop the existing site by demolishing all existing buildings on site, in order to erect a 5 storey building with a ground floor plus basement level. The new buildings will contain new homes in the form of 29 apartments, as well as approximately 273sqm of commercial floorspace at ground floor level.

Lawrence Road, N15.

Located within the London Borough of Haringey the scheme provides a mix of housing and commercial premises. The project involved the demolition of the existing buildings and redevelopment of the site to provide a 7 storey building fronting Lawrence Road and a part 5, 3 and 2 storey building forming an intermediate block and mews to the rear. Total units comprising of 47 residential and 176sqm of commercial floor space on ground floor, including a landscaped courtyard.

Lauriston Road, E9

This two-storey extension transformed a ground floor and basement maisonette in a Victorian terraced house, replacing old lean-to structures with a new living space and upstairs studio. The extension gives the lower flat its own identity, with a formal rear façade contrasting the original informal structure. Inside, the ground floor serves as an open-plan kitchen, dining, and sitting area, while the upstairs studio, designed for a photographer, features an L-shaped corner window overlooking the garden.

Kentish Town, NW5

Vabel Kentisston is a striking residential development in the heart of North London, blending architectural heritage with modern living. Located at the corner of Kentish Town Road and Prince of Wales Road, this iconic building has been carefully transformed to create 35 new homes, including 5 affordable units, alongside 320 sqm of commercial space.

Our involvement in this project encompassed administration of the Party Wall etc. Act 1996, representing the building owner and ensuring seamless negotiations with all adjoining owners. Additionally, we provided advisory services on other Neighbourly Matters, ensuring the smooth progress of construction works while protecting neighbouring properties.

Chiltern Street, W1U

This project involved the renovation of a luxurious two-bedroom lateral apartment located on the third floor of Portman Mansions. The apartment features a spacious reception and dining area with a bespoke kitchen, oak herringbone flooring, and high-end fixtures throughout, including acoustic double-glazed windows and smart home technology.

Harrow Road, NW7.

Redevelopment of the site to provide mixed use cluster of buildings containing 17 residential units and 500sqm of commercial floor space split across ground and basement level. The buildings comprise of two storey mews buildings located on the northern side of the site and five storey residential building to the western side of the site.

Great Portland Street, W1W.

This project consisted of an additional two stories comprising four lateral penthouse apartments with panoramic views over the London skyline. The proposal incorporates the enhancement of the entire building by seeking to upgrade the 1980s facade with high quality materials, commensurate with a prime Fitzrovia streetscape.

Tottenham Court Road, WC1B.

Located  in the West End this new building occupies one of the most prominent locations on Tottenham Court Road. Each floor plate has been designed to maximise flexibility of use to accommodate all working environments, whether open space, informal creative set-up or a more structured offering. A series of LED lights are integrated into the accentuated reveals of the reconstituted stone.

DGN Studio has extended and renovated a Victorian semi-detached terraced house in East London, introducing a sunken concrete floor to maximise the ground floor ceiling height.

Mayola Road, E5

This project revitalised a classic Victorian terraced house, adding character while preserving its original features. The design embraced contrast, pairing a low, dark basement with a taller, light-filled adjoining space, linked by a cherry-lined semi-circular staircase. The new extension features modern bay windows, while the interiors combine textures and colours from different eras, including a 1950s-inspired basement and a contemporary loft space.

The six-storey building, arranged over lower ground to fifth floor levels is Grade II Listed and falls within the Harley Street Conservation Area. In addition to the internal refurbishment and structural changes throughout, the proposed works seeked to provide new accommodation at 6th floor level.

Spa Road, SE16

The site is ideally placed to provide purpose-built student accommodation within five miles of six London Universities and will help reduce the demand on the local housing supply. The scheme, designed by Maber Architects, includes amenity space, communal lounge, gym and cycle storage for the residents. Located next to a Grade II Listed Tibetan Buddhist Centre, the scheme has been designed to be sympathetic in scale while making a positive individual contribution to the Spa Road Gardens area.

Albert Palace Mansions is a charming red-brick Victorian mansion block divided into residential flats. Located on Lurline Gardens, it sits directly opposite Battersea Park.

Our services included managing the Section 20 consultation process, specifying extensive cyclical repairs, and administering the building contract, ensuring that the property remains well-maintained and retains its character.

Gray’s Inn Road, WC2A

Churston Mansions is a stunning late Edwardian/early Victorian red brick mansion block featuring 25 residential units and ground-floor commercial units. Located at the intersection of Gray's Inn Road and Elm Street, this mansion block has spectacular east and west-facing views of the London skyline and is situated in one of London’s key centres for the legal profession.

Our services included managing the Section 20 consultation process, advising on and specifying repairs for both external and internal cyclical works. Additionally, we managed and oversaw significant fire safety upgrades, whilst working with the London Fire Brigade, including the replacement of fire doors, compartmentation works, and the installation of emergency fire alarms and lighting systems.

Britten Street, SW3.

This project in Chelsea, comprises of the construction of a two-storey rear extension and internal refurbishment. The house has been modernised and the basement accommodation expanded to create a more liveable home which benefits from a new open plan media room, kitchen and dining space. The fully glazed extension and walk-on skylights at ground floor level flood the basement accommodation below with natural-light allowing the textures of the stone, wood, and tadelakt surfaces come to the fore.

Clareville Grove, SW7

The terrace block, within a street of Georgian townhouses, was built in the 1960s following WWII bomb damage.  WGP Architects have created additional accommodation in the form of a basement and rear extension, and at the same time bringing natural light into the depth of the plan.

Close to the main campus at Brighton University and designed by Maber Architects, this student hall of residence provides 99 self-contained studio apartments arranged around a pedestrian courtyard. A semi basement area under part of the building provides ancillary accommodation, plant and storage for the student housing.

The construction of a part seven/part nine storey building on the site of Blackheath Business Estate, to provide 31, one bed 24, two bed and 8, three bedroom self-contained flats and a four storey building to provide 2288 sqm² commercial space, together with disabled parking, cycle parking, play space, refuse storage and plant.
