Mayola Road, E5

This project revitalised a classic Victorian terraced house, adding character while preserving its original features. The design embraced contrast, pairing a low, dark basement with a taller, light-filled adjoining space, linked by a cherry-lined semi-circular staircase. The new extension features modern bay windows, while the interiors combine textures and colours from different eras, including a 1950s-inspired basement and a contemporary loft space.

We advised on and administered the Party Wall etc. Act 1996, ensuring smooth coordination with neighbouring properties throughout the project.
